My wife Connemara (Conne) and I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles, WA. We both graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1994. Conne went to Seattle Pacific University to pursue her teaching degree with a major in sociology. I went to community college, pursued ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God, and was a youth ministry intern at our home church, Lighthouse Christian Center. In 1998 I became the Youth and Associate Pastor at Lighthouse, and Conne finished her degree at SPU and moved back home.
In 1999 we dated, fell in love, got engaged, and got married that summer. Not long after that, we started our family by having three amazing kids, Nathan, Joel, and Elizabeth (Ellie).
After eight years of ministry at Lighthouse, in 2006 we moved to Bellingham and I became the Youth Pastor at Hillcrest Chapel, now Hillcrest Church. That is the church where our kids grew up, and our love for Bellingham began to grow.
The summer of 2022 was a big one. I finished a MA degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Yellowstone Theological Institute in Bozeman, MT, and after 16 years serving at Hillcrest and 24 years as a youth pastor, I was elected as the Lead Pastor at Life Chuch. We are privileged to serve here and excited about the future!
